Basalt Tape Overview
Basalt Tape is constructed from high quality basalt fibers woven into a 2-inch tape. A more durable material than fiberglass or carbon fiber tapes, and is recommended for a continuous operating temperature of 1382°F/750°C, Basalt Tape provides an excellent heat shield. When applied as an exhaust heat wrap, the tape provides thermal insulation and radiant heat protection.
Davlyn Basalt Tape combines thermal performance and exceptional aesthetics to provide an ideal car, truck, motorcycle exhaust wrap. Basalt Tape increases the efficiency of an exhaust system, providing a performance boost, and reduces radiant heat to surrounding components and passengers.
Country of origin: U.S.A.
